Coconut Toast!

Hey guys!

Today I will be making coconut toast, which is something I never would have imagined making but now I am! I absolutely love coconut flavored things, whether its coconut water or a caramel delight girl scout cookie. I’m so excited to share this recipe with you so lets get toasting!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 11 to 12 slices white bread

DIRECTIONS:

In a bowl, combine the coconut, sugar, butter, egg and vanilla and mix well. Spread over each slice of bread and then place on un-greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.

This recipe is perfect for feeding large groups of people in the morning. It’s incredibly easy to make, tastes delicious and is extremely low cost. Not only is it amazing for those reasons, it has a lot of protein to energize you for your day.

This means they are great for your immune system, and since flu season is coming you should eat up!!
